The role of Management Accountant is pivotal to the success of the company with the core function being the preparation of accurate and timely data to assist management to run and continue to grow a thriving business. We are looking for an ambitious self-starter who looks for the most efficient way to work but without compromising on quality & accuracy.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant looking for their first step into industry however consideration will be given to a part qualified accountant with a clear plan to completing their training.
The successful candidate will work in Aberdeen, reporting to the Financial Controller.
Key aspects of the role:
- Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts
- Responsible for the UK payroll process
- Responsible for the group sales and debtor reporting
- Support the capital expenditure process including tracking capex requests, cost control reporting & fixed asset register maintenance
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns for the group
- Preparation of cash flow forecast for international operations to support group cash flow forecasts
The successful candidate will be ambitious and motivated to grow with the business; able to show they have strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritise during busy times and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
