Drift Confirmation Pressure Table (Mud 10ppg)
Chokes (C) can be fitted according optimum pressure characteristics, although in most cases the default fitting will suit most applications. To convert to the psi for the actual mud weight simply ratio up e.g. for 13ppg mud multiply pressure in table by 1.3 to get the actual pressure.

Customers anticipating extended pumping out of hole should request a larger choke and avoid using the volumetric drift in those applications.

Cost & Time Savings

  • Pump drift, pressure confirmation in minutes
  • POOH faster no need to look for drift
  • No need to search BHA or racked pipe for drift

Well friendly & reliability through simplicity

  • Through bore sub
  • Fish-able drift
  • Pump at full flow through drift if required

Easy to use and available in common pipe sizes

  • Place sub below drill pipe
  • Drill section as normal
  • Pump drift into place
  • Observe pressure confirmation
  • and POOH

Versatile

  • Drift in open hole or back at shoe
  • Sub is volumetric drift compatible
