Engineering
Assistant/Technical Coordinator
Status: Applications
invited April 2012
Preferably
a full-time role, however, for the right candidate slightly
reduced hours (initially) would be considered.
We
require someone to assist with the organisation and coordination
of the manufacture of our products and its supply chain.
Duties will include:
-
Liaise with trusted suppliers to obtain quotes for batches of
tool components.
- Input prices & delivery times into project spreadsheets
to select the best vendors.
- Initiate purchase orders and track vendor progress to ensure
on-time deliveries.
- Liaise with the Engineering and Workshop to facilitate smooth
assembly process.
- Maintain project organisational/supply spreadsheets throughout
the manufacturing process.
- To help, assist and organize other areas within the Engineering
Department as required.
Qualifications/Skills:
-
Word, PowerPoint, and particularly Excel proficient.
- Practical, organised, pro-active & reliable.
- Good communication skills
- High attention to detail
Relationships:

Reports to Engineering Manager
Primarily
we are looking for the right type of person for this role. Relevant
experience is not a pre-requisite but will be taken into consideration.
Remuneration
will be commensurate with experience in the range of £15k
to £30k, with the opportunity to progress within a rapidly
expanding organisation.

Workshop
Assistants/Service Technicians
Status: Positions
Filled April 2012
These are onshore workshop roles particularly suited
to any individuals with hands on mechanical experience in a
servicing environment of at least 2 years. As full training
is provided, Oil & Gas experience it not necessarily a requirement
and we welcome applications from other sectors, for example
automotive. Note-taking and accurate completion of documentation
is important as is the ability to following work instructions
meticulously. A good eye for detail and a conscientious approach
will provide the opportunity to progress within a rapidly expanding
Company. A clean standard driving licence is essential however
additional licences such as forklift and 7.5 tonne are an advantage.
Your role will involve assembling, servicing and testing tubular
down-hole tools and after completion of the training and supervised
period you will begin to work more independently.
Qualifications:
Must hold a clean driving licence however a heavier vehicle
class (e.g. C1) would also be a benefit. Good numeracy is also
vital. Remuneration: The Basic salary is supplemented
by substantial quality and productivity bonuses after a short
probationary period. Depending on experience first year salary
range is £15-£24K.

Draftsperson
/ CAD Technician / Design Engineer

Filled Feb 2012
The Company requires an additional person to support the growth
of its design team in Aberdeen for down-hole tool development.
The
successful candidate will be of graduate calibre, with a strong
aptitude for producing high quality CAD work both as an individual
and part of a team. Experience in a CAD environment would be an
advantage.
